Steve Clifford has agreed to return to the Charlotte Hornets as head coach. Clifford was beforehand head coach of the Hornets till becoming a member of the Orlando Magic. Clifford and the Magic parted methods final offseason.
The Hornets beforehand agreed to rent Kenny Atkinson earlier than he backed out of the verbal deal.
