The search continues for some inside offensive line depth for the Seattle Seahawks.
Having already met with guard Greg Van Roten and guard/center Lucas Patrick, Seattle reportedly introduced in former Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts guard Ike Boettger for a go to.
Former Payments and Colts free-agent OL Ike Boettger visited Monday with the Seahawks.

The 29-year-old Boettger went undrafted out of Iowa and has traditionally been a reserve guard. He made sporadic appearances within the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Payments, then made seven begins and performed in 12 video games in 2020 after harm to Jon Feliciano. When Feliciano was damage once more in 2021, he had a career-high 10 begins in 15 video games and even stayed within the lineup after Feliciano recovered. A torn Achilles in Week 16 ended Boettger’s season and he’s barely been on the sector since then. Over the previous two years (cut up between the Payments and Indianapolis Colts), Boettger has solely performed six offensive snaps and ended his stint with the Colts on the follow squad.
Boettger took some snaps at middle in 2019 and has stuffed in at proper guard occasionally, however most of his NFL profession has been at left guard, an space Seattle is trying to fill after Damien Lewis left in free company.
There’s actually nothing extra so as to add right here. Boettger has by no means entered a season as a Week 1 starter, and he had a catastrophic harm not too way back. He graded pretty well as a cross blocker in 2021, so I suppose there’s that.
Seattle might be assessing its choices within the free agent marketplace for guards, with a clearer image prone to materialize after the NFL Draft.
