I’m very happy with Nicolas Jackson from the again finish of final season and the way he has began this season. But when we’re to proceed with the constructive construct of high quality competitors on this squad, then there isn’t a method I’m even barely fascinated about not signing a brand new striker. We want one.
We nonetheless lack a whole 9 profile in my view. We all know what Jackson is nice at, we all know Christopher Nkunku is a fox within the field and is an elite finisher. However we want a mixture of these two, plus additional attributes that they each lack to be a whole 9.
The person who has all of these attributes in my view is Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting, and we must always have simply signed him in the summertime and be completed with it.
Whether or not he can resolve any points I’ve heard about between him and a sporting director at Chelsea stays to be seen. However we have to do all we are able to to try to signal this man, and that features paying his £85m launch clause. I’d do it I actually would. Try this and have the striker place lastly sorted for the foreseeable future. No one is talking about Moises Caicedo’s price ticket anymore, to get the elites it’s essential pay the cash.
Gyokeres is THAT man. He’s THAT striker. He has all of it. Something you need and want out of your quantity 9, he has it.
As you may see from his highlights from the UCL final week, Gyokeres is a SERIOUS participant..
I do know Chelsea are nonetheless very enthusiastic about Gyokeres, however I’m ready on data for the most recent plans on strikers.
I’m hoping to carry a brand new soured article on strikers very quickly with the most recent data on that.
However no matter we’re considering, it should significantly contain Gyokeres.
