Brentford striker Ivan Toney is an actual risk for Chelsea in the summertime switch window.
Regardless of spending a ridiculous sum of money during the last two switch home windows, Chelsea are but to herald a pure out-and-out striker. Datro Fofana was signed throughout the January switch window, however the younger attacker won’t be prepared for a beginning function in a Premier League facet.
Joao Felix was introduced in on mortgage, but it surely’s not a long-term resolution for Chelsea except he indicators a everlasting deal.
Now, chatting with GiveMeSport, journalist Simon Phillips has claimed that Brentford striker Toney is an actual risk for Chelsea in the summertime switch window and is admired by the membership.
“Ivan Toney is a participant that Chelsea actually like, and that’s from the brand new regime and the brand new recruitment group. He’s a reputation that they put ahead. However clearly the scenario together with his playing points and what’s going to occur there, what sort of ban he’s going to get, Chelsea have to attend and see what occurs. However Toney is a robust candidate for a striker in the summertime.”
If Toney doesn’t obtain any form of ban, it could possibly be a sensible signing for Chelsea. They appear to be missing a pure striker who can maintain the ball up, convey others into play but additionally get into the field and rating objectives.
Toney has proved time and time once more that he’s a Premier League degree striker and taking the subsequent step to a Champions League membership might tempt him.
