The Lakers had been at house taking over Davis’ former workforce, able to enhance their place within the standings. And when the lights had been at their brightest, Brandon Ingram was the one who received the final snicker.

New Orleans walked away with the win, taking down the Lakers 114-111. Ingram completed the evening with 29 factors, eight rebounds, and 7 assists towards his former tea.

Each James and Davis performed properly, too, dropping 38 and 23 factors, respectively, however on the finish of the day, the one stat that mattered in that sport was the win.

Ingram wasn’t essentially humble throughout the win, both. Simply a few seasons in the past, the Lakers shipped him to New Orleans in alternate for Davis, and whereas James clearly isn’t within the entrance workplace, it’s not laborious to see that he pushed them to make the commerce.

Movies surfaced throughout Twitter that confirmed Ingram smiling menacingly at James after hitting a free throw. And the loopy half is, the Pelicans had been shedding at that time.

Clearly, Ingram additionally picked up a flagrant foul for smacking James within the face while making an attempt to dam a layup, however apart from that, he did most of his speaking together with his play.

There’s very clearly no love misplaced between Ingram and the Lakers group, and the funniest half about that commerce is that if the Lakers miss the playoffs, the Pelicans get their choose (if it falls into the highest ten).

This season has been a comedy of errors for the Lakers, and seeing the Pelicans sweep them on the season was simply icing on the cake. Los Angeles’ season is in critical hazard (and has been for some time).
