Navarrete will put his WBO junior light-weight world title on the road in opposition to former two-division world champion Valdez this Saturday, August 12, at Desert Diamond Area in Glendale, Arizona.

Rising junior welterweight prospect Ricardo Ruvalcaba (9-0-1, 8 KOs) will make his fourth look of 2023 in a six-rounder in opposition to Adrian Orban (6-3, 4 KOs).
At Thursday’s press convention, Navarrete and Valdez had been joined by Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales. The Mexican legends will current the winner of Navarrete-Valdez with a commemorative jacket designed by Tijuana-born designer Kiko Baez.
