Should the Eagles bring back Jalen Mills?

The Philadelphia Eagles have already locked up the cornerback place early in free company, however they nonetheless must make some strikes at security — Marcus Epps is now in Las Vegas and C.J. Gardner-Johnson appears much less prone to return as the times go on. One attention-grabbing possibility can be to carry again the Inexperienced Goblin himself, Jalen Mills, after it was reported that the Patriots had been planning to launch the DB.

Mills is strictly the sort of versatile participant that Nick Sirianni likes to have on the roster. His first 4 years in Philly he performed cornerback earlier than shifting over to security in 2020. The transfer was made after Malcolm Jenkins left for New Orleans, and he did a good job filling these slightly giant footwear. Actually, Mills had a career-high season in 2020, ending with 74 whole tackles, 5 QB hits, three passes defended, one interception, and one pressured fumble, plus 1.5 sacks, that are the one sacks of his profession.

He left for the Patriots in 2021, however New England put him again at nook and regardless of being a starter, he was by no means fairly as efficient as he was in Philly. There have been indications that Mills can be moved again over to security for the Patriots, nevertheless it seems they’ll transfer on totally.

Mills nonetheless goes by Inexperienced Goblin, and nonetheless has inexperienced hair, so it doesn’t look like a reunion is totally out of the query.
