A former prime NFL pass-rusher is suing the NFL for allegedly blackballing him.
On Tuesday, Junior Galette, who performed six seasons within the NFL, filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, in accordance with Professional Soccer Discuss. Galette named the NFL, NFL Gamers Affiliation, commissioner Roger Goodell and a number of other groups within the swimsuit. The Seahawks, Rams, Raiders, Browns, Chiefs, Panthers and Commanders are the groups listed as defendants.
Galette performed from 2010-2014 for the New Orleans Saints. He had 12 sacks in 2013 and 10 sacks in 2014. In 2017, he performed for Washington as a rotational participant.
Galette is representing himself in his case. He alleges the NFL blackballed him “identical to Colin Kaepernick and placed on the blacklist BY THE NFL OWNERS.”
He alleges that his feedback concerning the contract Washington gave Trent Murphy, which he acknowledged was an instance of racial discrimination, led to him being blackballed.
“I swear to god I’m not enjoying for no slave offers I’ll die earlier than I play for extra slave offers,” Galette mentioned about his contract state of affairs over Snapchat in 2018.
