There might be a brand new No. 1 participant within the ATP rankings on Monday.
In a battle between Novak Djokovic on the Dubai Obligation Free Tennis Championships and Daniil Medvedev on the Abierto Mexicano Telcel, Djokovic needed to end with a greater consequence than Medvedev in an effort to preserve the highest spot. Vesely shocked the highest seed 6-4, 7-6(4), clinching Medvedev’s spot atop the rankings as of subsequent week. The Czech left-hander produced an excellent efficiency to take down Djokovic in a single hour and 57 minutes.
